Obituary of Paul I Berman

Paul I. Berman z”l, beloved husband of Iris Markowitz Berman for 62 years of Edison, New Jersey and Pompano Beach, Florida, beloved father of Dr. Scott Berman and Lisa Berman Hills, beloved father-in-law of Matthew Hills, beloved grandfather of Rachel (Matt Munafo), Joshua and Jordan Berman and of Jessica, Meredith, Benjamin and Amanda Hills.  Devoted brother-in-law and uncle to Paul and Anita Mark and to Larry and Julie Mark.  Born and raised in Queens, educated at Stuyvesant High School, Queens College, and continued his graduate education at Hunter College and NYU.

Past President of Temple Neve Shalom of Metuchen, NJ, Past President of Jewish Family Services, Past Board Member of Jewish Federation.  Former Director of Product Support and Logistics for Lockheed Electronics, Vice President of New Business Development of Stat-a-Matrix, Adjunct Instructor in English and American Literature and Poetry at Rutgers University.  Intellectually curious, lifelong learner and teacher, deeply committed member of the Jewish community.  He will be missed by his devoted family and countless friends.
