Condolences
We are so sorry to hear about Teddy. A good friend of our family, we thought of him often. We will continue to think of him and appreciate him when we enjoy the trees he planted for us. You made things better, Teddy --- Ralph, Debby, Alex, Zack and Laura DiMeo
Ted, you were like a second son to Tom and me. My heart is broken. Perhaps you and Tom are getting together chatting about the labor unions and nature, etc. as you so often did here on earth. It gives me great solace to think so. Ted, the man with a heart of gold. You are greatly missed.
With much love, Aunt Rose
Ted, You’ll truly be missed. Always thought and loved you as a brother. My parents loved you like a son. You always made us smile.
Ted always went out of his way to help family, friends and even strangers. He never asked for anything in return.
We should all learn from Ted’s many acts of kindness to all.
May you Rest In Peace. Love, Diane
My heart aches as I heard the news this morning of Teds passing. Having known Ted for many years he has always been a very positive person to be around and I have always enjoy his company. I am thankful to have been able to connect with him over lunch a few months back and will forever remember him. Even by having seen Ted in a few years before that it was like no time has passed and he had an awesome time. You will be missed ... Rest In Peace Ted.
Ted was such a compassionate soul. We feel truly blessed to have met him. The world will be a darker place without his light. Our deepest condolences to his family! May he rest in peace!
Sending love, thoughts & prayers to all that knew Ted! We feel very fortunate to have known him! He was such a kind, gentle and caring man! We will miss him dearly!
Ted was truly a kind and caring man, and a dear friend who was part of our family, his smile and kindness will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with his sister and family. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him!
I am so sad to hear of Ted's passing. He was a part of my family for many years, and a virtual step-father to me. I am certain that everyone who met Ted will always remember his genuine kindness. He would do anything for anybody, and always smile while doing it. I will forever be thankful for the annual trips to the US Open, I am not even sure he enjoyed the tennis, but he knew I did and that's why he'd buy tickets for my family every year. I was also part time staff with Leisure Tree Service during college, often being overpaid for my day's work because Ted wanted to may sure I didn't struggle too much while being a student. I can't even count the number of times Ted helped me move! And the list goes on... I didn't know of the service until after it occurred, I wish I could have paid my last respects. Rest in peace Ted, you will not be forgotten.
Ted was a member of our family for many years. I am heartbroken to hear of his passing. He was like a stepfather to me and my brothers, and like a grandpa to my daughters. It brings tears to my eyes to post this, but he deserves this, he deserves to be acknowledged for the outstanding man that he was. Ted was the nicest, most loyal person you could ever meet. I will always remember his kind heart and he will forever hold a place in my heart. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure...love you, Ted❤️
My sincere condolences to his family and friends
So sorry to hear about Ted. We met him when we moved in 22 years ago. He was very friendly and one of the first to welcome us to the neighborhood. He always stopped to chat and always offered his help, no matter how busy he might have been. He will be missed.
Ted will be missed by his "tree family" . Ted was one of a kind. Always smiling- Always giving. A true friend to all. Even as of last year he kept searching to become a better tree climber and I helped him order all new gear and he came to my house to learn ti climb with the latest techniques- SRT. I miss him already and many more will miss him at the next New Jersey Championship! Up in the "crows nest" as he called it, eating his sardines. Rest in peace Ted.
Ted attended to our trees for many years. In addition to his professional expertise and skills, he was a true gentleman at all times. We were saddened when he told us that he was retiring to Florida, and devastated when we learned of his untimely passing. He wil be missed by all of his former clients. May he rest in peace. Our condolences to his sister and her family.
