Obituary of Saul B. Rubin

Saul B. Rubin, age 95, lovingly known as Poppy, passed away peacefully on August 24th, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center. He was a loving husband to Gloria Rubin, brother to Sarah Griggs, a caring father to Alison Horvitz and Debra Rubin, a loving friend to Candy Miller, a wonderful grandfather and grandfather-in-law to Matthew, Alisa, Julia, Greg, Zach, Alexandra, Josh, Jordana, and Alex. He was the greatest great grandpa to Izzy, Owen, and Gabriel. Poppy was a Jersey boy at heart. Poppy was a World War II veteran and the patriarch of our family. He was an avid skier and tennis player. Poppy was always happy to have some beer and oysters. He knew how to enjoy life and make every day count. Saul will be forever missed by his family and all who loved him. He will live on in the hearts of all who cherished him.
