Obituary of Sondra Jean Miranda

Sondra Miranda, 62, passed away on October 12, 2018 at 10:10 pm in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.

Sondra was born in Jersey City, NJ on May 5, 1956 to Joseph Resnick and Harriet Herr, and lived most of her life in Bayonne and Somerset, NJ. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University and spent 35+ years working as a Billing Manager for AT&T. Sondra was beloved and cherished by her Husband, Ronald Miranda; daughter and son, Robyn and Joseph Miranda; step daughter and son, Tracy (Miranda) Detrizio and Michael Miranda; daughter in law, Sheila Miranda; son in law, Michael Detrizio; five grandchildren, Michael Miranda, Mason Miranda, Nicholas Torres, Michael Detrizio, and Greyson Detrizio; and her 3 sisters, Susan Perrella, Linda Smith, and Barbara Watts.

Sondra is best remembered for her kind heart, caring personality, and beautiful sense of humor. She dedicated her life to her loving family, and always wanted the best for everyone she crossed paths with. Sondra was quick to apologize, and even quicker to forgive. Some of her favorite hobbies included fishing, cooking, listening to music, watching tv, and just about any excuse to spend time talking and laughing with her family. She was the first person to coordinate family events, and known throughout her family as the only one capable of healing seemingly irreconcilable grudges.

Family and friends are invited to the Goldstein Funeral Chapel, 2015 Woodbridge Ave., Edison on Tuesday, October 16th at 2PM. A Memorial Service will be offered at the Funeral Home at 3PM.
