OBITUARY

Cecile B. Cohen (nee Rothbloom) passed away on March 6, 2019 at home with her family by her side.

She was born in the Bronx and had lived in Union before moving to Iselin 60 years ago.  

Cecile had work as a Lab Technician for Irvington General Hospital for many years.

She was a member of Hadassa the former Beth Shalom Synagogue, Iselin, NJ, Sisterhood at Temple Emanu-El, Edison, NJ B’nai Brith of Metuchen, 55 and over club in Woodbridge and Volunteer at JFK Hospital, Edison,

She is predeceased by her husband, Saul,, who passed away in 2003.

Cecile is survived by her sons Jeffrey (Rose), Edward (Corrinne) a daughter Andrea Portilla, 2 brothers Jerome Roth and Charles Kolber, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Temple Emanu-El, 100 James Street, Edison, NJ.  Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. Arrangements are being handled by Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Inc.,

Edison, NJ.
