Obituary of ROSE SANDLER

Rose Greenfield Sandler, 89, passed away at home on April 7.

She was born in New Brunswick and lived there until 1957. She then moved to Highland Park, where she resided for 62 years.  

Mrs. Sandler worked at the Middlesex County Courthouse for 25 years, including as Purchasing Agent for the courts, judges, and court-related departments. As an adult, Mrs. Sandler returned to school, earning an Associate Degree in Business with High Honors from Middlesex County College.

Her beloved husband, Sam, predeceased her in 2010.

Mrs. Sandler leaves behind three children: Jeffrey Sandler, Richard Sandler, and Jodi Ogen; daughter-in-law Roni Cohen-Sandler; son-in-law Steve Ogen; and five grandchildren: Laura Sandler Lekkos, Jason Sandler, Alissa Ogen, Amanda Ogen, and Jessica Sandler; as well as a great-granddaughter, Alessandra Lekkos.

Graveside services were held on April 9, 2019 at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
