Steve was one of the most intelligent individuals I knew. He was a remarkable engineer and a great guy to know and work for. He always spoke his mind and did not pull any punches. A few people did not like him for the way he was because they did not like to be told when they were wrong. He was respected by a lot of people in the industry. I learned a lot from Steve.
We used to sit in the office and talk about the old times. I was amassed that we grew up in a similar fashion even though he was Jewish and I was Italian.
He loved to to talk about sports, growing up in New York and his favorite subject stocks and finance. He was always willing to help us and give advice. I enjoyed working for him and with him.
After he closed the office in NY Kryos moved to Jersey. We still kept in touch and I would try to visit him once a month.
I will never forget Steve.
He will be missed.
