1935-2024
Barbara Fallik, 88, of Sayreville, NJ passed away Sunday, June 23rd at home with her loving sons by her side.
Barbara was born and grew up in the Bronx, NY before moving to Sayreville, NJ where she lived for the past 50 years. She spent years working in the publishing industry before becoming an Administrative Manager in multiple industries including financial services.
A loving and devoted Mother, Barbara was heavily involved in all aspects of her son’s lives. She could always be found at the Little League Baseball and Pop Warner Football field’s volunteering wherever she could, while cheering on her sons, and continued to do-so throughout her life.
Barbara was a fashionable and stylish woman starting in her early years growing up in the Bronx and enjoyed cooking and sharing recipes with her family and friends. She was strong and independent, known for her loving, caring and compassionate nature and leaves a legacy of always being there to take care of her loved ones and friends in times of need.
She also had a tremendous love for her Golden Retrievers, Cintu and Cinnamon, who she cherished and treated like they were her children.
Barbara will be dearly missed by all those close to her.
She is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Eva Rubenstein, her sister Toby Meissel and husband Mel Fallik. Surviving are her loving sons, Russell and Jeffrey, as well as her nieces and nephews; Steven Meissel and wife Susan, June Balkan (Meissel) and husband Paul, Debbie Klotzer, Michele DiNello (Klotzer) and husband Ralph, Neil Klotzer and wife Heather.
Barbara was laid to rest following a graveside service at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.
Memorial donations can be made in Barbara’s name to The American Heart Association and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
